To facilitate project execution and delivery, Sinotech has been closely monitored the development of 3D/BIM－Building Information Modeling－and kept optimizing its 3D/BIM design solution. With advanced hardware and software, our 3D/BIM design solution enables experienced engineers to perform engineering design and present their work directly in a three-dimensional environment. Through different visualization methods, e.g., video or interactive walkthrough, our 3D/BIM design solution can efficiently solve many spatial issues and conflicts traditionally associated with working in a two-dimensional environment such as space allocation and pipe/duct clashes. Many software packages/extensions/plug-ins have been developed for this breakthrough technology, 3D/BIM, for rapid and accurate design analysis and validation, quantity takeoff, clash detection, day-lighting simulation, construction simulation, etc., and we optimize our designs based on above analyses to realize the benefits of 3D/BIM. At Sinotech, our cross-department 3D/BIM Center integrates expertise in architectural, structural, MEP, PM and IT to achieve efficient BIM collaboration.

From more than three years of research and implementing 3D/BIM design into practice, Sinotech has applied its 3D/BIM design solution to many projects successfully. Exemplary projects include Kaohsiung MRT R24 station, Taipei MRT G21 station, China Airlines flight simulator building, wastewater treatment plant in Tainan Science Park, factories and school projects.
